The General Assembly passed House Bill (HB) 292 (download below) to enact section 122.98 of the Revised Code to create the Ohio Aerospace and Aviation Technology Committee. The law went into effect on September 17, 2014.

HB 292 created the aerospace and aviation technology committee. One of the committee’s duties is to research and develop aviation technology including unmanned aerial vehicles.  


Celina Ordinance 57-15-O - pending - as of Jan 23, 2017 there did not appear to be any ordinance on their city website


Cleveland Ordinance 330-16“Legislation has been passed permits authorities to assist the Federal Aviation Administration in regulating aerial drones.”
