Opener’s BlackFly eVTOL flew 4 public demonstrations in front of hundreds of thousands at EAA AirVenture 2022 in Oshkosh, WI. This marked the greatest public demonstration of personal eVTOL technology in the world. A decade of engineering and flight testing has paved the way for smooth, safe, personal electric aviation. BlackFly is a part 103 ultralight and does not require a pilot’s license to fly.
