On February 27, 2015, House Bill (HB) 1349 (download below) was approved and passed into Act 293 amending the offenses of voyeurism and video voyeurism to include the use of an unmanned vehicle or aircraft.
On April 2, 2015, House Bill (HB) 1770 (download below) was approved and passed into Act 1019, concerning the regulation of aeronautics; to restrict the use of UAS under certain circumstances; and to provide for criminal penalties and civil liability.
HB 1770 prohibits the use of UAS to collect information about or photographically or electronically record information about critical infrastructure without consent.
