HB 481 - effective July 1, 2017 - defines unmanned aircraft systems and preempts localities from adopting UAS regulations after April 1, 2017. Allows regulation of the launch or landing of UAS on public property by the state or local government.
On February 5, 2013, Georgia General Assembly adopted House Resolution (HR) 80 (download below), and on February 14, 2014, passed it on to the Senate.
This is a resolution recognizing and commending the Georgia Aerospace Industry for its significant beneficial impact to the people and economy of the State of Georgia and invite Donald Mitchell, Co-Chair of Georgia Aerospace Policy Working Group, and Chance McColl, Co-Chair of Georgia Aerospace Policy Working Group, to be recognized by the House of Representatives.
On January 29, 2013, the following HR81 (download below) passed the Georgia House.
This is a resolution recognizing and commending the Georgia Aerospace Industry for its significant beneficial impact to the people and economy of the State of Georgia.
On February 6, 2013, the Georgia Senate read and adopted Senate Resolution (SR) 172, (download below) a resolution recognizing and commending the Georgia Aerospace Industry for its significant beneficial impact on the people and economy of the State of Georgia.
